Dina Meyer was raised and born in Forest Hills Queens New York. When she was finishing the junior high school, she moved from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. She has two younger siblings and an older brother. Between the ages of nine and 16, her first exposure to the business world was when she began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among those actors who've received the same type of instruction. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move to Los Angeles. After landing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did all of the stunts her own, she proved her self as an actor who is physically fit. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to score a recurring role on Friends.
